Running an 800m at a 400m track
Along with 400m, 800m is one of the harderst events: it requires speed + consistancy.
☆ Stride right before: Skip → stride + Skip
☆ Immediately before the start: Relax your feet and hands to the last minute (jump) ☆ Start: Elbowing other runners may be done; better than being pocketed ☆ 100m-200m: position yourself by the curve of 200m ☆200-400m: stay where you are, 300-400m is another good time to find a new positioning ☆ 400m-600m: Speed up from here; you might think this is too early, but usually runners are already slowed down in 200-400m, you must catch up here at 400-600m ☆ 600m ~: MAX at that time from the last 200m. Race to the very end. .
